Tom Sebastian is the co-CEO and chief creative officer at Swirl, where he leads the agency's creativity, growth and development with his partner and co-CEO, John Berg. Tom is a connector of people and ideas and has a vast network of experience across advertising, entertainment and media.

A believer of the notion that true innovation comes from unusual collaborations, Tom has a genuine passion for creativity and ideas and has been instrumental in Swirl's explosive growth and prosperity. In 2014, Swirl was named one of the "100 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area" by the San Francisco Business Times. Swirl was also ranked in "The 2014 Inc. 5000: The Fastest-Growing Private U.S. Companies."

Prior to joining Swirl in 2010, Tom was the executive vice president at William Morris Endeavor (WME) in Los Angeles, where he led creative development for the firm's corporate consulting division, eventually co-leading the entertainment marketing division of WME. Tom's tenure at WME helped cultivate a deep understanding for how brands can "participate" in entertainment, content and popular culture. Tom led the agency's creative and integration teams for Coke Zero and 20th Century Fox's Avatar, Nestle/Purina and Marley and Me, and Lady Gaga and Polaroid. He also participated on the strategic team that turned Hasbro's iconic intellectual property of toys and games into a media empire, including motion pictures, television and video games (Transformers, G.I. Joe, Battleship, Trivial Pursuit, Candy Land, Monopoly). Prior to WME, Tom was the executive vice president and chief creative officer of PRN, a San Francisco based advertising and media firm that pioneered the creation of digital advertising systems in some of the country's largest retailers, including Walmart, Sam's Club, Best Buy, Sears, Costco and Ralphs. PRN was sold to Paris-based Thompson in 2005. Tom started his career in television, working his way up the ranks at Lifetime Television, Whittle Communications, the Health Channel, Sonalysts Studios and Time Life Medical. He has served on the board of directors and executive committee of thinkLA and was recently appointed to the board of the San Francisco Bay Area Association YMCA. He also serves on the Walt Disney Family Museum board of advisors. Tom is an avid runner and lives in Marin County. He enjoys spending time with his family, Lisa, Gray, Beau and Julianna.
