Greg brings Swirl more than ten years of experience in media and communications, having built brands across a diverse range of industries. Greg prides himself in finding the best media solution to reach each client’s goals. Keeping media neutrality as a core value, he's executed a vast spectrum of media—from ads on national television to the sides of dogs in NYC dog parks. Greg's communications expertise includes consumer insight generation, marketing analytics, and touch-point research.
During his time at The Media Kitchen in SoHo New York, Greg helped major brands such as Neuberger Berman and USA Network develop response-generating national campaigns. His team’s work on USA Network's hit miniseries, Traffic, won the 2004 Creative Media Award for new/emerging/experimental media. Greg also worked with clients such as Wyndham International, Kansas City Power & Light, MSG Network, NYC2012, and Mohegan Sun, developing local market campaigns that used both traditional and grassroots media to ingrain brands into their community. Moving from New York to San Francisco in 2004, Greg took over the position as Media Director, managing a wide range of clients such as BBC America, Chela Education Financing, Vegas.com, and Cisco.
Greg joined the Swirl team as Media Director in 2006. Greg led the media department while managing multi-media direct response and lead-acquisition programs, optimizing both media and messaging to drive efficient results on such clients as PayPal, Trumer Pils, KGO Radio, MTC, Cisco, Lexar, PG&E, Intuit, and Lennar Homes.
In 2007, Greg joined Venables, Bell & Partners as Director of Communications Strategy. He helped create a communication/brand strategy team structure and led in the development, presentation, and execution of communication plans on such brands as HBO Video, Nestea, Barclays Global Investors, Sansa, PG&E, Con Agra, Audi, Siebel Foundation, and 24/7 Fitlite.
Rejoining Swirl in April 2009, Greg and his teams are responsible for developing media targets and strategies; cultivating partnerships; and building, negotiating and implementing media plans for all Swirl clients.
